2 Timothy 4:2 - Always be prepared to preach the Word

2 Timothy 4:2 - Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage - with great patience and careful instruction. in other words always be prepared to lead folks to the truth by knowing the Word of God and being able to challenge those that speak false truths and do not fully understand. It also says to be able to encourage or lift up and motivate each other.But to do this we need to know that others will try us, not allow ourselves to be moved to anger and take great care in what you preach to others. Preach the truth and lead folks right because if you do not, you are the one to be held accountable.
