1 Timothy 4:1 - You do not have to be older to provide an example for others

1 Timothy 4:1 - Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. Meaning that no matter how old or how young you are, no matter what your experiences are, no matter what your status in society is, you can be an example for others to follow. your everyday life, the way you carry yourself, the words you use, the folks you associate with, all of these things are being looked at by those around you. Being a Christian means that you are held to a higher standard and we need to live in a way that will reflect well on God at all times.
