When Faith is Needed Most Recently, our family has had a scare. My Mom has been in the hospital and the doctors were having a hard time figuring out what was wrong with her.We spent a lot of time waiting for results as the doctors ran one test after another in search of something they can fix. It was a very frustrating process. We had to trust that they were doing all they could and have faith that all would work out. It's easy to have faith and trust in God when all is going smooth. It's when we face adversity or unexpected trials in our lives that we tend to lose our way. We start to blame God for allowing the bad to happen. We lose our belief that He is watching out for us and we back-slide some. What we have to know is that everything happens for a reason. It's hard to remember that though when you are going through the worst. God knows what we need and He knows what we can handle. He is always with us, especially during the hard times. Trust in Him in all things always. Don't just be willing to sing His praises and go to Him when all is good. Also don't blame him when stuff goes bad. Lean on Him and let Him get you though the rough spots in your life. We will always need God, in good and bad times. It's when we are hurting and in need that we need Him most. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. He has been there for my family and me this last week and I am very thankful for that. He can be there for you too. Thanks to all of you that have kept us in your prayers.
